The son of the deputy governor of Sokoto State Alhaji Muktar Shagari lost his life yesterday afternoon in a ghastly motor accident. He was not the only one in the car. Read more after the cut.
Alhaji Muktar Shagari left Abuja for Sokota in the company of his friend Ghaddaffi and another person when the accident occurred. Both the son of the governor and his friend Ghaddaffi died instantly.
It was also reported that the car was burnt beyond recognition. The third person in the car who sat at the back sit survived by the grace of God. Mukthar was only 28 years old and was a business man before his demise. His is survived by a wife and a son.
