LEKKI LINK BRIDGE TO IKOYI TO BE COMMISSIONED TOMORROW


The Governor of Lagos State has finished with the long awaited link bridge of Ikoyi (Alexander Street) to Lekki (Admiralty Way). The bridge which had cost the State government N29 billion naira to construct will soon be launched by the Governor. Babatunde Raji Fashola, who has been known to be very radical in construction in Lagos since his inception will soon conduct a proper commissioning on the bridge.



 The Commissioner for works and infrastructure, Dr. Kadri Hamzat, in an interactive session with the press declared that the bridge is the first of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa because its a Suspension Bridge.
