LAURYN HILL BAGS 3 MONTHS JAIL TERM.

 

Remember the last time i brought you the news of Lauryn Hill and her issues with UK tax authorities? She was facing the law for tax invasion. She has been sentenced to prison. Read more after the cut.

The music star was sentenced to 3 months imprisonment for invading tax of about $1.8m, Lauryn who pleaded guilty to the allegation explained that she had issues raising money to adequately pay up her bills and still maintain the welfare of her seven children.

The 37 years old singer paid $900,000 back taxes she owed the government just a day to her hearing sentence. She is to begin her 3 months jail term from July 8th 2013and thereafter she will be under house arrest for another three months.
